Fitting Appointments
I offer a bespoke service for bridles and headcollars. If you are based within a 20-mile radius of either my home or workshop, I can come to you to measure your horse and discuss what you’d like to order. Full details of fitting fees and mileage costs are given on the booking page.
Bridles
A horse cannot perform to the best of its ability in a bridle which does not fit correctly. I offer fitting appointments with no obligation to buy. We will assess your existing bridle and I will fully explain the reasoning behind any changes that I recommend. Sometimes bridle parts can be adjusted, and individual parts can always be made to match the rest of your bridle.
If you wish to purchase a bespoke bridle, we will discuss your requirements in terms of ridden disciplines and design, and I will measure your horse. Prices for bespoke bridles depend on the type and style; reins are charged as a separate item.
If you decide to buy a bespoke headcollar and bridle together, there is no additional fee for the headcollar fitting.
